Regardless of the fact that he really didn't have any more room, Florian accepted a last minute couch request for tonight. After our day out, we came back home in hopes of meeting the new girl. For whatever reason, our phones were not connecting, and we missed the invite to go out with them when Florian picked her up. Fortunately, when Nick and I had decided to go out on our own, we ran into them on the way out. So we turned around and spent the night in, with Florian, Alex (the German couch surfer from Portugal) and Florian's friend Ann (from Poland). We spent the whole night (it's 3am here) talking, bonding, drinking wine, eating cheese and cookies and pie :). SUCH a fun group of people! We all got along so well! Makes it bittersweet to be leaving in the morning...

Tomorrow we make our way out of town to pick up our car (based on the directions a stranger gave us today). And then we head down to Interlaken! With a pitstop in Lucerne! We miiiight be a little sad if we don't get our Ford Fiiiiiiesta!! Think happy thoughts!!
