Chocolate! Chocolate!

No joke. I think we walked through the Spriingli store about 5 times today. But we FINALLY bought some!! :)

Ohhhh happy day! :)

Nick tries his first Spriingli raspberry truffle!

Yay!! He likes it!!

Mine was just a dark chocolate truffle!

Yay! I like mine too!!...

...and then I ate the rest of Nick's! :)

How This Trip Came To Be!

May 11, 2012: What would seem like a casual, daydreamy conversation to the average person, Nick and Jennifer discussed how fun it would be to travel together. But when they briefly brought up the idea of taking a Euro trip together in the summer of 2013, they both knew that there was nothing casual about this suggestion. Wanting to make the point that both of them were serious about traveling together, they both pinky swore that this trip would happen.... next summer.

Exactly two days later, this is what happened.

"Good morning sunshine!! :)" -JQ

"Good morning!!! :]" -Nick

":] loaded morning question: hypothetically speaking... WOULD you have the money/interest in doing a month in europe... this summer?"

"What???!!! Interest of course!!! Money, probably not. Why?? Do you?? And why is that loaded??!!"

"Probably not... haha it would wipe me clean again. but a strong case is being made to just do it haha... annnnd idk about you. but if we left like a day or 2 after hoopfest. it would be a solid month (5 weeks) before vegas."

"Agggghhhhhhh!!!!! How much do you think that would cost??"

"haha idk if that was a good or painful sound effect! but it would probably cost more than i care to think about :)... it was just a thought.... thaaat
i happened to be discussing with my mom for the last hour.... thaaat left me wanting to do something really impulsive and probably completely stupid...

"i'll bring a blanket and we can sleep out under the stars every night. no money needed ;) we can run fast. steal food. crash weddings. solid :) haha"

"umm my heart and my head are racing... that give you an idea? iiii know that it's not a smart move. financially. at all. but money will ALWAYS be an issue. you'll never have enough. but the bigger issue is time.... idk. maybe i'm an adrenaline junky haha. is it selfish of me to want to go with you now?"

On June 6, 2012, Nick and Jennifer bought plane tickets to Zurich, Switzerland.
